Sebastian Menschhorn (1971-) translates styles, forms, and functions into contemporary design with a profound knowledge of cultural and art history. This results in modern yet timeless designs that are rooted in history yet tell new stories. Menschhorn studied industrial design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Paolo Piva and Toshiyuki Kita and has been working with graphic, product, and interior design ever since.
Menschhorn has a diverse clientele, and he has made a name for himself in particular through his work with traditional manufacturers and labels such as J.&L. Lobmeyr, Köchert jewellers, Augarten porcelain, Jarosinski & Vaugoin, Hermès, and Fürstenberg.
