"Subconscious" Rug by Emma Gardner
Contemporary
The perfect symbol for the subjectivity of human perception, ink blots also produce compelling and often beautiful shapes. With "Subconscious", Gardner painted one and then coupled it with another notion, depth. The wool is carved higher than the concentric coils of silk, providing added dimension and texture. This layering effect hints at, but does not entirely reveal all that goes on below the surface.
This hand-knotted design with 100 knot count per square inch is available in 50% wool and 50% silk. Please inquire about custom options.

- Damages: All items are inspected before transit. Any damage must be reported immediately to the freight carrier to initiate a claim.
